Managed Accounts
We will open an account specifically for your personal budget and organise all your direct payments for you. You can have the flexibility to manage your own support needs through the Direct Payments process with financial support to pay your providers on time.
You can have as little or as much involvement with this process as you wish - We will support you to simply pay all authorised providers through this account with frequent updates and monthly statements.
Create an individual account for you. Meet and/or liaise with you and the council, as required, to ensure the smooth set-up.
Make payment for the invoices regarding the services you receive on your support plan regularly, and in a timely fashion
Monitor the funds being received by SCC and investigate/resolve any issues arising.
Issue regular statements as and when required.
Liaise with various council departments: Direct Payments team, Finance, Social Care team, for any queries regarding change in providers and cost (e.g. changes in the support plan).
Communicate in a way which suits the individual, phone, email or face to face.
